擅长空间模式分析：如旋转主成分分析。时间序列分析：如频谱、最大熵谱分析、小波分析，特别是在变化点检测中。用FORTRAN开发了7个算法和计算程序，如下：5个子序列变化点的扫描检测均值、变化、趋势、相关性和概率分布，以及概率分布的归一化和模糊加权移动平均（FWMA）。
